Next Week

Why the post title Next Week? We'll be hitting the road next week. This marks another period of full-timing again in the airstream. Next week we'll be winding our way up to the northeast coast to our new temporary.

I'm excited and scared at the the same time. Excited for new people, new experiences, and being close to the beach (fresh seafood!). Scared of the unfamiliar and unknown. But I know this area will grow with fond familiarity and become our home on the road soon. Being in our own trella will help me get there. After all it is our home -- the difference is that it's just on wheels.

I can't wait to install the rest of the new interior. It's going to be a whole new place. I'm nervous about mixing the birds, stripes, and the green together (hoping it doesn't look too busy in such a small space). I think it'll look okay, but there's still that small doubt. Don't worry, there will be pictures. Lots of them. I need to send some to the fabric store lady to post on her website.

I've been craving lobster something fierce that last few months. Maybe it's my body getting ready for the journey. It'll be fresh up there. I adore fresh seafood.

I want a Schwinn coaster brake bike with a basket. We'll be biking distance from the beach (hopefully there will be a bike trail). I find peace with the water...

Big hugs to Crazy Corpsman who signed up for another four-year tour of duty. Thank you so much for your service to our country. Enjoy your new station assignment. Hubby's been there and probably has some great stories to pass on. Be safe. (I won't say to behave because you're young and still have lots of mischief to get into...LOL!)

Well, that's enough musing today... Stay tuned for more later...
